Glenfarne ( _ga. Gleann Fearna) is a small
village located in the north ofCounty Leitrim , Ireland. Glenfarne is the site of the original "Ballroom of Romance", which inspired a short story byWilliam Trevor and was subsequently turned into a movie by theBBC . Glenfarne also has a lakeside forest which has red squirrel and native Irish deer and beautiful walks with several picnic areas. Glenfarne railway station opened on
