Raymond C. Setlakwe (born
July 3 ,1928 inThetford Mines, Quebec ) is a Canadian entrepreneur, lawyer, and former senator.Born in
Thetford Mines, Quebec , ofArmenia n descent, he received a Bachelor of Arts fromBishop's University and an L.L.L fromUniversité Laval .He was summoned to the Senate in 2000 on the advice of
Jean Chrétien and represented thesenatorial division of The Laurentides, Quebec. He was a member of the Liberal caucus and retired at the age of 75 in 2003.He is married to Yvette and has four children.
In 1996, he was made a Member of the
