Annalee is a fictional mutant character in the Marvel Comics Universe.

Publication history

Annalee's first appearance was in "Power Pack" #12 (July 1985), and she was created by Louise Simonson and June Brigman.

The character subsequently appears in "The Uncanny X-Men" #195 (July 1985), "Power Pack" #19 (February 1986), "The Uncanny X-Men" #211 (November 1986), and "Power Pack" #27 (December 1986).

Annalee appeared as part of the "Morlocks" entry in the "Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition" #9 and #18.

Fictional character biography

A member of the subterranean mutants known as the Morlocks, Annalee's own four children were slain and this caused her to force the four original members of Power Pack to become her foster children. Her repeated attempts failed (the latter attempted foiled when Katie Power escaped and sought the aid of the X-Men), but she later found happiness caring for the young Morlock known as Leech. Annalee later was slain by the Marauders' member called Scalphunter during the Mutant Massacre.

Powers and abilities

Annalee was what is known as a projecting empath: she could cause other people to feel whatever emotions that she does.

Annalee appeared in the "X-Men" episode "Captive Hearts" amongst her fellow Morlocks.
