Fuglebjerg is a town in
Næstved municipality onZealand inRegion Sjælland inDenmark .Until
January 1 ,2007 , Fuglebjerg was also a municipality (Danish, "kommune") inStorstrøm County on the south coast of the island ofZealand ("Sjælland") in southDenmark . The municipality covered an area of 141 km², and had a total population of 6,582 (2005). Its last mayor was Henrik Willadsen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.Fuglebjerg municipality ceased to exist as the result of "Kommunalreformen" ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with existing
Fladså ,Næstved ,Holmegaard , andSuså municipalities to form the new Næstved municipality. This created a municipality with an area of 681 km² and a total population of 78,446 (2005).External links
