Kinetic Honda is the name given to a gearless automatic motorscooters, made in
India by theKinetic Motor Company , whilst they were in partnership with the Japanese companyHonda . They were sold in the late 1980s and early 1990s - at point which the partnership was terminated - and are still in common usage all overIndia . They usecontinuously variable transmission and have an air-cooled engine.The scooters are based on the
Honda NH series .Original versions
*1984: Kinetic DX (98cc, fuel guzzling 2-stroke, single mirror, black plastic finish)
*1984: Kinetic ZX (98cc, fuel guzzling 2-stroke, double mirror, wind shield, more graphical stickers, grey plastic finish)Later versions
*2001: Kinetic ZX Zoom (110cc, 2-stroke. Otherwise as the ZX)
*2005: Kinetic 4s (113.5cc, 4-stroke)World records
