Schreiner (born
December 18 in Oslo, Norway, 1974) plays lead guitar inTurbonegro (aka Stierkampf, Turboneger, TRBNGR), noted internationally for the album "Apocalypse Dudes ". As Euroboy, Schreiner usually appears on stage in an all black attire, sporting a Schutz-StaffelTotenkopf officer's hat. His style of playing is strongly influenced by James Williamson ofthe Stooges from 1971 to 1974. Schreiner has confessed thatRaw Power (1973) by the Stooges is one of his all-time favorite records. He is also influenced byAce Frehley of KISS andAngus Young ofAC/DC . Schreiner is also the lead guitarist and lead singer of his own bandEuroboys , (formerly known as "Kåre And The Cavemen "). He also took part in the Black Diamond Brigade. Knut Schreiner has produced bands such asTurbonegro , Amulet and The Lovethugs. In 2002, he finished building his own studio with Anders Moller ofEuroboys . This is called Crystal Canyon and is located inOslo .In March 2008 he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. He has said that he is optimistic about his recovery and that he expects to be completely cured by the fall.
