Unbioctium

Unbioctium

-|

Unbioctium (pronEng|ˌʌnbiːˈɒktiəm) is the temporary name of an undiscovered element on the periodic table that has the temporary symbol Ubo and atomic number 128.

History

Stability

The element unbioctium would likely have isotopes that have a half life of only a few milliseconds, as this element is very close to an island of stability. An estimated five isotopes would then have half lives of over a half second while Ubo-340 would be the most stable.

Properties

The physical properties of unbioctium have not yet been investigated, though this element is expected to be highly reactive and oxidize quickly. This element would presumably be a metal and solid. The color would probably be silvery white.
