Founded in April 2010, the league has a single bouting team, and an affiliated recreational league.
History
The Brawlers formed in mid-2010.[1] They played their first bout, against Bristol Harbour Harlots, in January 2011. This was the first public roller derby bout in Wales.[2]
The team's coach, BB Bombshell, was selected to play for a UK All Stars team in October 2010,[3] In July 2011, the Brawlers became the first Welsh league to affiliate to the UK Roller Derby Association.[4]
