Police Citizens Youth Club

A Police & Community Youth Clubs or commonly abbreviated to PCYC are a network of Australian non-profit, community organisations, founded in NSW. In some states such as NSW, they are constituted as an Incorporated Association.[1]

The Mission of PCYC is to get young people active in life; develop their skills, character and leadership; and prevent and reduce crime by and against young people.[2]

The first PCYC was opened in Woolloomooloo, New South Wales on 1st April 1937 and included a membership of 400 boys and facilities such as a library containing 3000 books, wrestling, physical culture classes, debating and teams in the rugby league competition.
