Norwegian PatriotsResidence Åsgårdstrand, Norway Occupation Politician, student Øyvind Heian (born 16 December 1980) was a Norwegian politician and the parliamentary leader of Norwegian Patriots, which he founded in 2007 and whose main aim was to stop non-western immigration to Norway.
In November 2005, Heian announced that he was a member of the far right organization Vigrid.[1] As a result of this, he lost his job at MTU Link.
Heian also used to be a member of the Norwegian Progress Party, but he resigned when he claimed the party started to be non-political.[2]
During the election in Norway in 2009, the Norwegian Patriots received 183 votes.[3] At 23 September 2009, Heian went out to the public and announced that his party should be closed down. Heian then started to study psychology.[4]
