Oy Stenfors Ab is a Finnish building automation company based in Oulu, Finland. Company has also a branch office in Helsinki. Mainly the company manufactures and installs HVAC control systems for large buildings such as schools, industry buildings and offices. Oy Stenfors Ab is regarded as the most oldest Finnish building automation company.[1]

History
Company was originally founded by Sulevi Stenfors in September 1969 as a sole trader. Business carried the name Technical office S. Stenfors. In 1972 Sulevi Stenfors formed a limited partnership named Stenfors Ky. During the 80's company hit product SS100 was sold widely over Finland and Soviet Union. After the fall of Soviet Union, Oy Stenfors Ab retreated from Russian markets and concentrated on Northern Finland.
After Sulevi Stenfors' retirement, his son, Juha-Pekka Stenfors took up his father's business. Due long illness Juha-Pekka Stenfors company's deputy managing director Tero Sundquist was charged with Oy Stenfors Ab's leadership.[2]
Present
After Juha-Pekka Stenfors' death in 2008 Tero Sundquist became the managing director of the company. Ownership is still retained within the Stenfors family by Sulevi Stenfors' younger son, Sebastian Stenfors and Juha-Pekka Stenfors' son and daughter.
