Their headquarters were located in Ann Arbor, Michigan and had a staff mostly composed people who worked for Parallax Software, and were led by Matt Toschlog. It is most well known for developing Alter Echo, Descent 3 and Red Faction II.
The company was acquired by THQ on 4 April 2002, and renamed Outrage Games. It was closed during 2003–2004 fiscal year.
