Career

Val Baiano Empire stood out in Toledo, making the goal of the classification team to the first division of the Paranaense Championship over the archrival Rattlesnake, turning the greatest idol in the history of the club.

The following year the owner of the Empire Toledo wanted to sell the team to the city, but nobody wanted to buy, thus, moved to Maringa, and Val Baiano played a few games there and has already been transferred to the Saints, who then had Robinho and Diego. However, without success, he did not have many chances, then went through other Brazilian clubs and was very poor until the Gama hired and Val Baiano was the top scorer of the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie B with 23 goals, being able to rise, thereby He was sold to Al-Ahli Sports Club.

Val Baiano had many experiencing difficulties with Saudi, with that, he was a BIT overweight, but it did not matter and he returned to Brazil to play for Gremio Barueri. At first he was injured and was undergoing treatment, then recovered, but remained on the bench because he had to hold the greatest idol in the history of the club in São Paulo, Pedrão. Val Baiano played only three matches for the Paulistão 2009. However, at the beginning of the Brazilian Championship, Pedrão sold, and thus, Val Baiano had the opportunity to hold and held. The athlete finished the Brasileirão with 18 goals, only behind Adriano and Diego Tardelli, both 19.

In 2009, playing for Barueri, the striker missed an opportunity to be isolated from the league top scorer by a very curious fact. After talking about a white handbag to beat Flamengo received in October 2009, the player was preventively suspended by the club, who still suffered some risk of relegation, against São Paulo, who also was a candidate for the title, as well as Flamengo. The worst case is that the white was never confirmed, the STJD did not punish anyone. He said at the time live on Radio Eldorado / ESPN that the bag had come from the White Cross, another contender for the title.

Val Baiano terminated its contract with Gremio Barueri on January 8, 2010. A few days after terminating his contract with the club in the player that also interested the Fluminense, was announced as the new reinforcement of Monterrey for the Copa Libertadores de America, with 1 year contract.

On June 24, 2010 Monterrey published on its website that it had reached an agreement with the striker for friendly end his contract since the Brazilian was no longer in the plans of coach.

On June 30, 2010, he was hired by Flamengo, with a contract until December 2011. On July 25, he made his debut against Internacional.

On 8 October 2010, in the 28th round match of the Brazilian Championship, against Atlético-GO, Val Baiano was released into the field to replace Deivid in the 26th minute the 2nd time. After 4 minutes on the field, Val Baiano received Marquinhos crossing from the right and headed into the left corner of the goalkeeper. It was his first goal in 11 matches.
