The Yellow Three-Spot (Apamea helva) is a moth of the Noctuidae family. It is found from New Brunswick to Georgia, west to Oklahoma and Colorado, north to Saskatchewan.
The wingspan is 35-41 mm. Adults are on wing from July to September depending on the location.
The larvae feed on various grasses.
