The Company
'Shankar Bros.' was founded by Hari Shankar in October 2008 with the motto to change the dimension of conventional cinema. Orr Eravuu was the firest film Project to the Company, acclaiming the first Indian Viewpoint Film, creating a history in Indian Cinema with its distinctive Filmmaking.
Making
The crew of the film had done their homework. They have involved in the study of paranormal procedures, been working on field with Ouija board (wee-gee board), electronic voice phenomenon, EMF meters, micro cassette recorder and much more scientific instruments. Also they involved at night shoots in the locations which were broadly believed to be haunted.
Without using daggers, blood, gory faces, computer graphics, hero, heroine, songs, fights, double meaning dialogues, Orr Eravuu still makes the chillness run through your spines without the usual cinema formula. All the technicians who have worked in this venture are debuts / first timers.
The Protagonist
Sathish. G plays both the lead role and cinematographer himself. All the scenes of the lead character were shot in Point-of-View.
Camera and the Rig
Sathish. G designed his own rig to exactly fix the camera at the level of human's eye and perfectly shot the whole film, assembling the rig on his head with the Sony HD Camera. With this camera setup, he walks, drives, climbs, runs, performs all the paranormal tests and takes the audience into the scene.
Editing
Since the movie is made in digital, Hari Shankar decided to have a sophisticated Edit Setup and preferred to use the Apple Systems. The entire film is edited in Apple Final Cut Pro with the true HD resolution 1080p.
Music
The Movie has no songs. This happens rarely in Tamil Cinema. First, the Movie was planned to be released without Background Music and only a theme music at the end credits. But later, the crew decided that the BGM would add some more chill for audience to experience this mysterious screenplay.

Music is scored by K. Venkat Prabu Shankar.
