Oriomeryx is an extinct genus of Artiodactyla, of the family Moschidae (deer-like), endemic to Europe from the early Miocene epoch, 22.4—20.0 Ma, existing for approximately 2.4 million years.[1]

Taxonomy

Oriomeryx was named by Ginsburg (1985). It was assigned to Pecora by Ginsburg et al. (1994); and to Moschidae by Prothero (2007).[2][3]
