Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru (俺の彼女と幼なじみが修羅場すぎる^?, lit. Caught in the carnage between my girlfriend and my childhood friend), is a Japanese light novel series written by Yuji Yuji, with illustrations provided by Ruroo. The first volume was published by SoftBank Creative under their GA Bunko imprint February 2011; as of May 2011, two volumes have been released. A manga adaptation drawn by Nanasuke started serialization in the June 2011 issue of Gangan Joker.^[1]

Plot

Eita, after entering high school, is aiming for the National University School of Medicine. His parents' divorce and his goal became the reason that he shuns anything to do with romance or love. One day the school beauty Masuzu with the silver hair who just returned to the country entered his life in the most unexpected way. His childhood friend since elementary school, Chiwa will not let this go without a fight.

Characters

Main

Eita Kidou (季堂 鋭太, Kidou Eita^?)

The main character, He aims to get into the National University's medical school. Always placed at the top of the class during term exams. Have a strong distrust for love and romance due to separation from his parent's divorce in middle school. However, he is now caught in a fierce battle between the school beauty and his childhood friend.

Chiwa Harusaki (春咲 千和, Harusaki Chiwa^?)

Childhood friend of Eita. Due to a Petite physique reminiscent of puppy, her friends sometimes refer to her with The nickname "Chiwawa" (Chihuahua). Started kendo in elementary school kendo, but had to give up kendo due to critical injury in a car accident a year ago that ruined her dream to qualify for national competition level. Does not give up easily and declared to Eita That she wants to be popular with boys. She is a horrible cook.

Masuzu Natsukawa (夏川 真涼, Natsukawa Masuzu^?)

Eita's classmate. Spent nine years overseas and features a straight silver hair. She is frequently the target of confessions by male students. She, having a reason of her own, combined with some persuasion, made Eita her boyfriend. Like Chiwa, she is also a horrible cook.

Manga

Ore no Kanojo to Osananajimi ga Shuraba Sugiru is now adapted to manga illustrated by Nanasuke using character designs by Ruroo. The manga began serialization in the June issue of Square Enix's Gangan Joker manga magazine.
