Opin — Village — Coordinates: 54°6′48″N 20°12′26″E / 54.11333°N 20.20722°E Country Poland Voivodeship Warmian-Masurian County Lidzbark Gmina Orneta Opin [ˈɔpin] (German Open) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Orneta, within Lidzbark County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1]
It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Orneta, 25 km (16 mi) west of Lidzbark Warmiński, and 42 km (26 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
