Onychodactylus fischeri is a lungless salamander found on the Korean peninsula, as well as in the Russian Far East and adjacent regions of China. It is also known as Fischer's Clawed Salamander and the Long-tailed Clawed Salamander. It has seventy-eight chromosomes in total (twenty-seven pairs of microchromosomes, six pairs of medium-sized chromosomes and six pairs of large chromosomes).[1]
