- Online fax
-
Online faxing (also known as Internet fax, digital fax and e fax) utilizes an online fax service provider to convert a fax transmission into file that can be received via email or a fax machine.[1] Online fax services bridge the gap between the traditional fax technology and internet transmission of documents. When you sign up with an online fax service, you will be assigned a dedicated fax phone number that will convert incoming faxes to electric document that are automatically sent to your computer or fax machine. Document is converted to TIFF or PDF format and attached to an e-mail in MIME format.[2] The service also allow you to send document like Word, PDF's, or pictures file.[3]
