Old Enough to Rock and Roll is a rock song appearing in the 1986 movie Iron Eagle. It was written, produced, and performed by singer/songwriter Rainey Haynes (AKA "Rainey"). It provides the audio backdrop for a daredevil action sequence early in the film in which star Jason Gedrick, flying a small Cessna, races a dirt bike ridden by a rival through a desert canyon.
Omitted from the movie's soundtrack album due to a contract dispute, the song nevertheless attracted a substantial following. Responding to many requests, in 2006 Haynes released a digitally remastered mix of the song, which is available on her website, http://www.raineyonline.com.
