The Chlorias Plume Moth (Hellinsia chlorias) is a moth of the Pterophoridae family. It is found in North America, including Mississippi[2], New York, Colorado and Kentucky.
The wingspan is 22-25 mm. The head is pale yellow-ochreous. The antennae are pale ochreous. The thorax and abdomen are pale yellowish-ochreous. The forewings are light brownish-ochreous, often more or less suffused with whitish-ochreous. The hindwings are grey.[3]
Taxonomy
Hellinsia chlorias is sometimes listed as a synonym of Hellinsia kellicottii.
