Elizabeth Agyeman is the member of parliament for the constituency. He was elected on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) won a majority of 19,132 votes^[2] to become the MP.She succeeded Elizabeth Agyeman who had represented the constituency and had also stood on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
