The Ocoee Scenic Byway is a National Forest Scenic Byway in Tennessee, United States. This 26 mile historic byway follows U.S. Highway 64 through the Cherokee National Forest and was the first to be designated as a National Forest Scenic Byway in the United States.
Parksville Lake and the Ocoee River Gorge are the some of the attractions as the byway follows The Ocoee River and climbs to the top of the Chilhowee Mountains.
Parksville Lake provides visitors with opportunities for boating, fishing and camping.
Canoing, rafting, and kayaking are popular activities at the Ocoee Whitewater Center along the Ocoee River which served as the venue of the 1996 Olympic Canoe/Kayak Slalom Competition when the Summer Olympics were held in Atlanta, Georgia.
