O'Keefe, British Columbia

O'Keefe is a ghost town located in the Okanagan region of British Columbia. The town was founded in 1867 by Cornelius O'Keefe. Cornelius was a cattleman who became known as "the O'Keefe of Okanagan." He was an Irishman who's ranch was an early center of trade in the Okanagan. The O'Keefe town later contained a general store, Roman Catholic Church, and a post office. [1]
