Career
Nuno Reis started his career in a small team based in Fátima, Vasco da Gama, where he was spotted by Sporting scouting team. At Sporting's Academy, Nuno Reis came through the several youth ranks, where he won eight titles (five of them National Championships) in seven seasons Sporting junior squad.[3] He was also part of Sporting's junior team that became champions three times in a row, where he was team's captain during the last year. In addition, he was also called up for several main squad home matches, against Belenenses and Atlético Madrid (UEFA Europa League).
After graduating from Sporting's Academy, Nuno Reis was loaned out to Cercle Brugge, alongside Renato Neto.
International Career
Nuno Reis captained the Portuguese Under-20 team to their second-place finish at the 2011 U-20 World Cup. Soon after, the defender made his debut for the Portuguese Under-21 team in a friendly against France on 9/5/11.
