Nukeateen is a UK rock band that was formed by singer/guitarist Taz Cebula and bassist Jon Cebula in Wellingborough, England in 1992. Nukeateen went through a few drummers, the most notable being Nick Iliffe, who joined the band in 1996. Nukeateen was also a cocktail served for several years in the Cannon pub, Wellingborough.

History

In 1998 Nukeateen recorded their debut album "Ozone" released the same year.

NUKEATEEN ( nuke-a-teen ) N. 1. Catalyst used in explosion of body's senses. 2. Disruption of Karma into a state of uncontrollable frenzy. 3. Means achieving the above. 4. Alcoholic cocktail of unknown ingredients.

Nukeateen played their farewell gig (The 9.1.99 gig) to a full house at the Oakley Arms Rushden, Northants, England. After ten years (2008) they got back together to record the songs that were popular live, but never made it to the studio, around 48 songs in total.

The songs will be made into four new albums and will be available for download with full colour inlays or order on CD. The first album "Reginalds Revenge" is due for release in 2009.^[1]

On Friday, 4 September 2009, Nukeateen was featured on the Weekender introducing BBC show,^[2] and was featured in the NME Awards 2009 Teen Drive In Videos section ^[3]
