Biography
NuBlues were the brainchild of Ramon Goose who recruited rapper Jay Nicholls, bassist Ed Van Der Mark and drummer Paul Francis. They toured extensively throughout Europe and made several national TV and Radio appearances. Van Der Mark later left the group and was replaced by Ramon's twin brother Joe Goose.
Nublues pioneered their own blues and hip hop infused rock and roll with their 2008 release “Snow On The Tracks” long awaited after the triumphant debut album "Dreams Of A Blues Man" which was released in 2004.
NuBlues was discovered by Grammy Award-winning artist Chris Thomas King, known to many for his performance in O’ Brother, but well known also as a performer in his own right. King signed NuBlues to his Louisiana-based label 21st Century Blues Records.
the band split up after releasing "Snow On The Tracks" and Ramon Goose went on to release the world music collaboration "Mansana Blues" with Senegalese Kora player Diabel Cissokho in 2010 as well as work on his own solo project.
As of 2011 Nublues have announced their reformation and plan to tour again in 2012.
