Company history
Started in the year 2004, the company has developed thin embedded devices capable of operating on Windows, Linux, Macintosh and Solaris platform without any change in device. Novatium has partnered with Tata Teleservices Limited to launch Novatium Navigator with Tata Photon plus. Thus, Novatium is India's first cloud computing on wireless broadband service.[3] The services include high speed computing experience with special emphasis on internet, gaming, digital entertainment, online education, telephony and business productivity. Bharti Airtel, Asia’s leading integrated telecom service provider, also entered into a strategic partnership with Novatium to help expand the broadband market in India.[4]
Products/Service offerings
Novatium offers computing devices and has four products, Novatium Navigator, Novatium Navigator +, Novatium Neon, Novatium cNergy.[5] Novatium Solutions Private Limited has arranged with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited,[6] Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited, Bharti Airtel and Tata Teleservices to connect the device into the Novatium Desktop.

Awards and recognitions
The Ministry of External Affairs recognized Novatium as one of the products that has a major influence on the lives of the common man.[8]
During The Sun Technovate 2007, Sun Microsystems awarded the Sun Technovate '07 Innovation Award to Novatium for the role played by Novatium in enabling adoption of network computing by the "next billion"[9]
During the Red Herring Asia 2006, Novatium Solutions was selected as one of the Top 100 Asia technology ventures by Red Herring Asia 2006.[10]
With a 446% growth, Novatium was ranked 9th among the fastest growing tech companies listed by Deloitte Technology for the year 2009.[11]
