The Northwest Sound Men's Chorus is an internationally-ranked men's a cappella chorus located in Bellevue, Washington, as a chapter of the Evergreen District, a part of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The chorus will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2010. The chorus membership draws from the Greater Puget Sound area and has men of all walks of life, including: Microsoft senior leadership, Bellevue based architects, doctors, dentists, website designers and military personal from as far away as Bremerton.

History

The Northwest Sound Men's Chorus was chartered by Barbershop Harmony Society in 1985. The chorus has won numerous awards since its inception:

Recruiting

As of October 2009, The Northwest Sound Men's Chorus is actively recruiting for new members in all vocal parts.[9] The audition process includes a pre-screening and a demonstration of "tonality, listening and musicality" with one of the chorus's repertoire songs.
