In astrology, the northern signs are the signs of the zodiac that the Sun transits during the northern hemisphere summer period: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo.
The southern signs are those the Sun transits during the southern hemisphere summer period: Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.[1]
