North Falmouth Train Station

-
The North Falmouth Train Station was located on Depot Road in North Falmouth, Massachusetts.[1]
History
The original station opened in 1872.[1] The station was replaved by a larger station in 1905.[1] In the 1930s, rail service ended and bus service to Woods Hole stopped at the station.[1] The station later burned down in 1969.[1] However, on a June 25, 2009 capecodonline.com article entitled Falmouth on track for safety gate, it was established that Massachusetts Coastal Railroad (or Mass Coastal for short) was adding dinner and tourist trains to its business, which already operates on freight trains alone, meaning to some a probable new North Falmouth station could be built, and it was proven so on November 21, 2009, when the first passenger train on the old Woods Hole line in 12 years arrived in North Falmouth.
