North Edmonton is a former village in Alberta, Canada. At the time of its incorporation on January 20, 1910, the Village of North Edmonton encompassed four quarter sections of land.[1] It was subsequently annexed by the City of Edmonton on July 22, 1912.[2][3]
The approximate geographic centre of the former village is the current intersection of Fort Road, 66 Street and 127 Avenue in northeast Edmonton. Its original four quarter sections of land are now occupied by the Edmonton neighbourhoods of Balwin, Belvedere, Industrial Heights, Kennedale Industrial and Yellowhead Corridor East.
