Commonwealth Games Silver 1930 Hamilton 100 yd freestyle Silver 1930 Hamilton 4×200 yd freestyle Norman Standish Brooks (11 March 1910 – 1953) was an English former freestyle swimmer who competed for Great Britain in the 1928 Summer Olympics.
Biography
He was born in Ashton-under-Lyne.
In 1928 he was eliminated in the first round of the 100 metre freestyle event.
Two years later he won the silver medal in 100 yards freestyle competition at the 1930 British Empire Games. He also won a silver medal as member of the English team in the 4×200 yards relay contest.
