Fujiwara no Tadahira (藤原 忠平; 880 - 949) was a "
kuge " (Japan ese noble) who served as regent underEmperor Suzaku who ruled from 930 to 946.Born the fourth son of Mototsune,
Kampaku , he took over the head of theFujiwara family in 909 when his elder brother Tokihira died. In 930 he was appointedSessho and in 941Kampaku . He was known for good nature and industriousness.Emperor Murakami was the maternal nephew of Tadahira.Tadahira is referred to as "Teishin-Kō" (貞信公) (posthumous name as Daijō Daijin) or "Ko-ichijō Dono" (小一条殿).
He was married to Minamoto no "Junshi" (源順子), daughter of
Emperor Kōkō .They had a son.
* Saneyori (実頼) ("Ononomiya Dono", 小野宮殿) (900-970) - Kampaku forEmperor Reizei 967-969, and Sessho forEmperor En'yū 969-970He was also married to Monamoto no "Shōshi" (源昭子), daughter of Minamoto no Yoshiari.
They had several children.
* Morosuke (師輔) (908-960) -Udaijin 947-960, grandfather ofEmperor Reizei andEmperor En'yū
* Moroyasu (師保) - priest
* Morouji (師氏) (913-970) -Dainagon 969-970
* Morotada (師尹) (920-969) -Sadaijin 969Daughters' mothers were unknown. (She might be " Junshi" or "Shōshi".)
* "Kishi" (貴子) (904-962) - consort of Crown Prince Yasuakira
* "Kanshi" (寛子) (906-945) - consort of Imperial Prince Shigeakira
