Niño Muhlach (born 1971) is a Filipino actor and former child actor, known as the "Child Wonder of the Philippines".

Early life

Muhlach was born on October 27, 1971 to Alexander Muhlach and Rebecca Rocha. He is the brother of Allan-Ronald Muhlach, the nephew of Amalia Fuentes and Alvaro Muhlach. His cousins Aga Muhlach and Arlene Muhlach were also actors. He is the owner of D'Wonder Films, which produced most of his films in the 70s and 80s. He was dubbed the Child Wonder of Filipino Cinema in the 80s for making films which gained both critical and commercial success, appearing opposite movie stars such as Joseph Estrada , "The Star For All Season" Vilma Santos, " the King of Philippine Cinema" (later Muhlach's godfather), Fernando Poe, Jr. and "The Philippines King Of Comedy " Dolphy. He still holds the title of highest-paid child actor in the history of Filipino Cinema.

Personal life

He was married to Edith Millare from December 2000 to 2005, and has a son, named Alessandro (born 2003). He is of Spanish-German-Chinese descent.[1][2]
