Career

Moroshkin began skating at the age of 5 to improve his health, and took up ice dancing at 11.[4] He and Kosigina began skating together in June 2010 after their previous partners left them.[4] After a try out in his hometown of Tolyatti, Moroshkin moved to train with her in Odintsovo, near Moscow, coached by Alexei Gorshkov.[4]

During the 2010–2011 season, Kosigina and Moroshkin competed for the first time on the ISU Junior Grand Prix. At their first event, the 2010-2011 ISU Junior Grand Prix event in Courchevel, France, they won the bronze medal.[5] At their second event, in Dresden, Germany, they won a gold medal.[6] These medals qualified them for the Junior Grand Prix Final,[7] where they finished 6th. At the 2011 Russian Junior Championships, they won the bronze medal. They were 6th at the 2011 World Junior Championships.

Kosigina and Moroshkin were assigned to Latvia and Estonia as their 2011–12 Junior Grand Prix events.
