Nikola (Serbian Cyrillic: Никола Малбаша, born 12 September 1977 in Zemun) is a retired Serbian international footballer.

Club career

2004

Nikola Malbaša made a magnificent season with Partizan. So, many teams tried to get him. Between all of these teams, Barcelona and Real made the best offer, about 6,000,000 euro per year. While Nikola pepared to move to Real Madrid, because of his love about this team, suddenly another team made an offer. That team was A.E.K. Athens. Α.Ε.Κ. could not cover the contract, which Real Madrid offered, although Nikola loved A.E.K. when he was still young. So, he could not deny the offer of his favourite team. Nikola moved to Athens in summer of 2004. 11,000 fans celebrated his arrival in Eleutherios Venizelos, Athens international airport.

Nikola played 25 matches in starting 11.

2006-present

However, A.E.K. was not able to keep such a big contract. But Nikola had a dream. The dream was playing in Germany and it was completed. He played for TuS Koblenz the next year.
