The largest municipal garden of Nicosia, Cyprus located in the centre of the city. The area was bought after a decision of the City Council in 1901 so as to create there the city's first Municipal Garden, which was named Victoria's Garden in honour of Queen Victoria. It is located between the Nehrou Avenue, the Museum's Avenue, and Kinyra street, behind the House of representatives and near the supreme court of cyprus. It was reconstructed in 1968-69 by the Joannou & Paraskevaides Company Ltd., the plans being made by the dear departed Neoptolemos A. Michaelides and the contribution of Princess Zena Kanther De Tyras.
In the park you can find Areas with lawns and sitting areas, shady in the summer and sunny in the winter, A children's playground with toys in a fenced area, A kiosk / refreshment stand, Small ponds with a great variety of lilies, ducks, etc. and a large pool with fountains.
