The station will have two 800-foot high-level platforms and sloping walkways connecting it to Massachusetts Avenue.[1]
Bidding for the station contract opened on 18 August 2010[2]. The $12 million contract was awarded to S&R Construction of New Hampshire and work began in January 2011.[1][3]
