Neurologique is the French word for neurologic and is the name of a nonprofit (full name: Neurologique Foundation, Inc.), incorporated in Florida in 2009.
Neurologique focuses on neurological patient care [1][2], research and education. Community building, including virtual communities (Second Life [3], Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Blogs etc.) are mobilized heavily by Neurologique as an extension of the Multiple Sclerosis Patient Network (M*S*P*N). Dr. Daniel Kantor laid the foundation for the Multiple Sclerosis Team Approach Rule (M*STAR), with a central principle of placing the patient at the center of their own health team. Different individual M*STARs come together and interact with each other to form M*S*P*N, which allows resources already within the MS community to be harnessed to improve the lives of the entire community.
Neurologique extends these principles beyond MS to Migraine/Headache [4] and other neurological diagnoses [5][6].
