It includes a discussion forum and provides support and advice for parents on a national level. Netmums has over 1,000,000 members, 2 million unique users a month, 3.6 million visits a month and over 23 million page views a month, making it one of the UKs most popular social networking, advice and support websites.[1]

History
Netmums was set up in 2000 by Siobhan Freegard, Sally Russell and Cathy Court. It is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary year.
Content
Netmums is a network of 151 local sites that cover the whole UK providing information on places to go, things to do, education, childcare, and community, social and employment issues.
Parent Supporters
Netmums launched the Parent Supporters, PS, campaign in 2008 with money from the UK Government. Since the launching of the service in the middle of March 8, over 2,500 parents have been helped with nearly 4,000 different problems.[citation needed] [2]

Netmums gives a voice to families where it matters in order to highlight collective opinions to decision makers.
The Real Parenting Revolution
Over arching all our work in 2011, the Real Parenting Revolution calls for a societal understanding and acknowledgement of the challenges facing parents. Throughout 2011, Netmums will be campaigning for support to be there where and when parents need it.Save our Children's Centres
