Nertera depressa is a species of flowering plant in the family Rubiaceae. This species was first collected on Tristan da Cunha and Inaccessible Island,[1] but has been found to be distributed in at broader distances from its original discovery such as New Zealand. An example plant associate of N. depressa is the Westland podocarp/broadleaf forests of New Zealand where example understory associates of Libertia pulchella, Quintinia acutifolia, Rubus cissoides and Blechnum discolor are found.[2]
