Mario VilusicNeon Knights is a former Bosnian progressive metal band from Tuzla. The band was formed in Tuzla 1994 and disbanded 1999. It's one of the most successful Bosnian heavy metal bands. They recorded one album Deserted Land in Italy 1998. Band was influenced by Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Rainbow, Stratovarius, Angra and Dream Theater.[1]

History
Neon Knights were formed 1994. in Tuzla during the Bosnian War. It was a project of six musical enthusiasts influneced by biggest biggest progressive metal bands. They have a first bigger concert 1995 at City Sport Hall in Tuzla attended by 7 000 fans.
In 1997 they went in Italy where they played a small tour of 10 concerts in 10 different cities. During 1998 they recorded and their album Deserted Land in Bologna, Italy. After releasing album 1998, band went on Europen Tour and they planned to play in Italy, France, Austria, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, Sweden and Spain.
During the tour, band encountered problems between band members about dates and concert stuff. Mastermind of band, guitarist Emir Hot was left band and in 1999 band finally split up.[2]
