Jürgen Dehmel (bass)Nena was a German Neue Deutsche Welle band, consisting by Gabriele Susanne Kerner (aka Nena), Rolf Brendel, Carlo Karges, Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen and Jürgen Dehmel. The band was active from 1982 to 1987. Their most recognized song was "99 Luftballons", which also became successful internationally.
The band is named after Kerner's stage name.
