NSN Matriculation School is in Chromepet, India. NSN stands for Neddungayil Sankunni Narayanan. It is run by Mrs. Chitra Prasad. School was founded by Lalitha Menon in 1968 to perpetuate the memory of her husband, the late Sri. N.S.N. Menon. The school is managed by a society.

The institution started as a primary school and was upgraded to the status of a Matriculation School in 1980 and Higher Secondary School in 1985. NSN Matriculation Higher Secondary School is the first school in Chromepet to attain the status of a Matriculation Higher Secondary School. The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 1993.

School's main building is in Dr.Rajendra Prasad Road, Nehru Nagar, Chromepet, Chennai. The school has an annexe building at 3rd Main Road, Thirumurugan Nagar, Chitlapakkam, Chennai.

Other activities

NSN school has a scouts and guides group which has the most number of Rashtrapati and Rajya Puraskar awardees.
