Gameplay
The gameplay from this game is the basic game structure carried over from Activision's Tony Hawk series of video games.
Game modes
Road Trip
In this mode the player has to complete different tasks (such as getting a high score) in an attempt to earn points to advance to the next level
Single Session
Like the previous game, the player chooses a BMX rider, an available bike, an available level, and ride for one to five minutes in an attempt to set a high score.
Free Ride
Free Ride is similar to the Single Session mode; the player chooses a BMX rider, an available bike, an available level. There is no time limit; the player can ride around as long as they want, finding gaps, secret areas, or simply practice.
Tiki Battle
After completing the Road Trip mode a bonus game is unlocked. The "Tiki Battle" is a first person shooter where you attempt to defeat the large statue located in the Hawaii level of the game. You collect ammunition and health bonuses as you try to avoid the fireballs thrown at you by the moving statue. When this challenge is completed a special character is unlocked and the "Tiki Battle" becomes available in the main menu of the game.
Multiplayer modes
The game also features several multi-player modes including Tag, Horse, Trick Attack, Push and Graffiti.

The songs featured in the game are as follows:
- N.E.R.D. - "Rock Star"

Not all songs are available at the start of the game; there are hidden discs throughout the game and each one unlocks a new song that can be played from that point on. Some of the songs are unlocked in areas that fit their genre. For example the song "Forward motion" by Jazzhole is unlocked in the New Orleans level after having completed a challenge based around a jazz trio.
