Its source is near Imavere (between Jalametsa and Käsukonna villages), Järva County.[1] It flows generally west. It is a left tributary of the Pärnu into which it flows near Tori in Jõesuu. The basin area of Navesti is 3,000 km² and average discharge 27.9 m³/s.[2]
