Established in 2009, NSEF has worked in collaboration with several organizations such as Villgro, Agastya International Foundation, Samhita Social Ventures, NASSCOM Social Innovation HonoursAshoka:_Innovators_for_the_Public#Changemakers, Sankalp Forum and YouthKiAwaaz.com, to enable youth-driven social innovations and young social entrepreneurs.

History
National Social Entrepreneurship Forum (NSEF) is a non-profit organization, registered under Indian Trusts Act at Bangalore, India. Founded by Yashveer Singh and Srikumar Murthy G, since its inception, NSEF has undertaken social entrepreneurial activities in 30 academic institutes across India, some of them are IIM Lucknow, IIM Bangalore, IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur, Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, BITS Pilani, BITS Pilani Goa Campus, Mount Carmel College Bangalore, Punjab Engineering College and in major cities in India like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Jaipur, Chennai and Hyderabad.
Programs
- NSEF Idea Conferences - A platform to educate students about social innovations and to provide them with a launch pad for their social entrepreneurial ideas.
- NSEF Authors of Change Program - A solutions delivery program for more than 50 key challenges that social organizations are facing, by connecting them to student talent from across the country through internships.
- NSEF Fellowship - An award for students who start social ventures after completing college, to connect them with the resources and network they would need to grow their ventures.
