Also earlier that year he was selected in the Canterbury Bulldogs development squad.

In 2006 Eyres-Brown played for The Southport School 1st 15 side where they won the GPS premiership. The next year he jumped back to league.

In 2009 Eyres-Brown played for the Gold Coast Breakers and was selected in the Queensland Country side and the Australian 7's squad.

The Southport School

Eyres-Brown was originally brought in by the Southport School in 2005 to play fullback but with injuries to the side was forced him to play 5/8. After playing 5/8 for the season he was then selected by the Queensland U/16 team and played as a Utility back due to the rising star Matt Toomoa. With injuries hitting the Queensland side he was forced to play a lot of the competition in inside center scoring a couple great tries with his fancy footwork in the national comp.

In 2006 Eyres-Brown was playing for the Southport School first 15 premiership winning side. Eyres-Brown stamped his foot on the competition scoring many tries throughout the season but his most memorable one was his 50 metre try in the final game against Brisbane State High School, with the winner of the game being crowned GPS premiers. He played out of his skin winning the game for The Southport School and getting Man of the match.

Bulldogs Development Squad

Debut vs QRL Dairy Farmers development Squad - 27 May 2005.

Eyres-Brown played his first game on the wing. Were he played outside Esi Tonga who was in the centers and Chris Sandow who was on the bench. Eyres-Brown scored one of the many tries that the Bulldogs development squad scored winning the game 50-24.

Burleigh Bears

Eyres-Brown then went back to were it all started the Burleigh Bears. In 2007 at age 17 he made the Bears Queesland fogs side. Where he played on the wing. It was a great first year on the wing scoring over a try a game. In 2008 he started of the season at half back but unfortently breaking his cheek bone in the last trail game of the season. He came back half way through the season and played a couple of games for the under 20's side before being put back up in the fogs competition. The fogs coach Ben and Shane Walker decided to use Eyres-Brown's elusivness and bring him off the bench to play hooker and run at the tired forwards, it worked like a charm. This was the first time he played hooker as he played most of his career outwide.

Gold Coast Breakers

Eyres-Brown decided that he had enough of rugby league and decided to go back to union and joined the Gold Coast Breakers squad in the Queensland Premier Rugby Competition.

Debut vs Norths - 25 April 2009

"Morgan's men got off to a dream start, going over inside two minutes when winger Nathan Eyres-Brown, making his debut run-on appearance, chased down a clever grubber kick from former fringe Gold Coast Titan Billy Ngawini to crash over in the corner. England Sevens skipper Ben Gollings, making just his second start for the Breakers, hit the post with his conversion attempt. Not that it mattered much with TSS alumni Eyres-Brown, back in the rugby fold after two years with the Burleigh Bears, intelligently following his own kick to touch down in the corner eight minutes later as the Breakers took charge."

He made and exciting start to the season scoring more than a try a game with his speed, elusive foot work and his abiltity to score a try from any where on the field. With a great season Eyres-Brown was then selected in the Queensland country side on the wing and was also selected in the Australians 7's squad.
